Senior Consultant - Licensed Site Professional Description We are seeking an experienced consultant as a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) to play a pivotal role in managing, overseeing, and providing expert guidance on environmental projects.
You will conduct thorough site assessments, soil and groundwater investigations, and environmental due diligence to assess potential contamination issues.
You will also and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, technical expertise, and knowledge transfer.
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) and other relevant environmental standards Plan, design, and manage environmental remediation projects, including excavation, groundwater treatment, and site restoration Perform risk assessments and develop risk reduction strategies for contaminated sites, considering human health and environmental risks Create and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear communication and project updates, while meeting client needs and expectations Oversee multiple environmental projects simultaneously, including budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation Prepare detailed technical reports, compliance documentation, and regulatory submissions.
Senior Consultant - Licensed Site Professional Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field Experience in environmental consulting, site assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance Valid LSP license in the state of Massachusetts strongly preferred Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling Recommended Skills Assessments Customer Relationship Management Environmental Consulting Excavation (Archaeology) Financial Management Project Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
