Interactive Designer
The Interactive Designer will help fashion the look and feel of our clients ecommerce presence. We build fun, intuitive and polished web experiences that do more than just sell we go all-out to enchant our customers. If you are a web design aficionado who loves marrying brand with intuitive usability on the web, lets talk!
The ideal candidate:
Cultivates ideas and designs comps that address business requirements, customer needs and brand purpose all in a useful package
Loves designing for specific user needs in email, tablet, mobile, email on mobile, etc.
Enjoys taking designs from concept to completion using the latest CSS/HTML standards
Has designed and built inspiring and engaging emails that looked awesome across all devices
Loves the unique challenges involved in css and html coding for email vs. web
Understands responsive email design and is excited to incorporate the practice effectively into our email program with the help of our extremely talented web team
Strives to be a leader by helping teammates accelerate their design and development abilities through shared knowledge
Continuously seeks to improve by learning from other teammates, staying hip to industry developments, and attending conferences and seminars that further web design and development
Is a creative problem solver thinks well on his/her feet and loves solving complex design challenges
Knows the overlap between UX and design and is eager to collaborate with our stellar UX team
Skills:
An uncanny talent to communicate ideas through sketches, wireframes, highly-polished look and feel drawings, illustrations, diagrams, charades, smoke signals, etc. in a very iterative environment
Know Photoshop like the back of your hand on top of general knowledge the entire Adobe Creative Suite
Take designs from concept to completion with pixel-perfect precision using existing and emerging web technologies (HTML5 & CSS3)
Know what it means to be both on-brand in all designs and simultaneously design for the specific needs of the project
Thrive in an environment that is collaborative, engaging, fast-paced, and seriously fun
Qualifications:
Stellar online portfolio showcasing web, email and mobile design experience
Bachelors degree or exceptional experience in interactive design

years of professional design experience
2
years relevant web marketing and/or ecommerce experience
Equine or other enthusiast industry experience a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
