Evening Shift Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:
o Five to eight years of direct care experience is recommended, at least one of which that involves an acute and/or emergency medical unit, and at least one year on a psychiatric unit
o Supervisory experience
o All requirements for a Registered Nurse
o CPR certification
o TB assessment
o Computer skills
o Ability to learn, use and train HPTC's electronic medical record
o Ability to assist in training and education of staff
o Able to be flexible with scheduling time and location in order to provide supervision/training as needed.
o Certification in the HPTC approved de-escalation program;
Responsibilities:
o Compliance with the Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug
Abuse Patients and HIPAA Regulations;
o Compliance with DPH, DMH, Joint Commission, DEA and all other regulatory agencies as required;
o Knowledge of ASAM criteria;
o Assure patient care is meeting best practice standards;
o Insures safety of all patients in facility;
o Assure staff is in compliance with all Joint Commission, DPH, DMH governing regulations and payor guidelines;
o Assure staff compliance with High Point policies and procedures;
o Participates in the training, and evaluation of staff as needed;
o Assist in training staff to develop staff competency in use of electronic medical record;
o Acts as a liaison between staff and managers for program, dietary and office supplies for smooth operation of the program;
o Responds to all critical emergencies/codes to provide guidance, assess staff response and notify appropriate manager including events that require police intervention;
o Assures that staff completes and disseminates all appropriate internal and external incident reports;
o Assists infection control program and oversee compliance with OSHA requirements as needed;
o Assists in infection control trainings and chairs quarterly Infection Control Meetings;
o Supervises TSS nursing staff as assigned;
o Responsible for the triaging staffing needs as needed on 3-11 shift in order to maintain adequate staffing patterns;
o Regularly makes rounds on all campus areas to ensure all staff are performing according to job description/responsibilities and patients are receiving optimum care, in all areas of service delivery;
o Meets regularly with the Nurse Managers/Program Directors to maintain consistency in practice;
o Attend mandatory training to update knowledge base and enhance both professional and personal growth;
o Assists in assessing Mock Codes as well as real codes as needed, for training recommendations and compliance with HPTC regulations;
o Provides a detailed report of shift activity to shared drive for authorized personnel to review;
o Intervenes with staff for critical infractions and notifies Program Director for need of corrective actions;
o Does not intervene in limit setting for patients but acts as a consult to the staff;
o Notify managers immediately if adequate staff is not on duty;
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
