Summary:
This position requires that you accept the responsibility for the delivery of housekeeping services to each resident in your Resident Group. You must coordinate and communicate with all housekeeping and other team members in maintaining a holistic perspective of service and care for each resident. Assume cleaning responsibilities for all residences for all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis. Keep all areas of the community clean, neat, attractive and safe for residents, guests, and team members at all times.
Essential Functions:
Clean all resident apartments as scheduled by supervisor. Empty waste baskets, clean all bathrooms, swab out toilet bowl, wipe out bathroom sink, bath tub, and counter tops. Wipe off mirror, mop floor, change sheets on beds, replace towels, clean sink in kitchen, kitchen counter and kitchen floor, dust flat surfaces that are uncluttered, vacuum all exposed areas, wash windows as needed.
Clean all common areas to specifications and standards including elevators, halls, landing, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, model units and clean other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by management.
Check and touch up vacant units weekly according to assigned schedule.
Maintain housekeeping cart in a clean and orderly manner.
Advise supervisor when supplies diminish for reorder.
Follow safe guidelines for the use of specific chemicals, must be familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
Assist in laundry room as needed.
Present a professional demeanor that communicates to current and prospective residents the corporate philosophy of service, goodwill and genuine interest in the resident's unique needs. Conduct yourself and your business at all times so as not to detract from or reflect adversely on the reputation of the property. Handle all resident concerns and complaints with finesse and in a caring, polite and professional manner.
Communicate and channel to supervisor, all resident, personnel and other matters and information which could concern or be in any way beneficial to employer.
While on duty, diligently and conscientiously devote your full and exclusive time and attention, your best skills and efforts, to the discharge of your duties.
Promote a thorough and continuous understanding among all employees of the importance of the housekeeping department to the quality of life for all residents and prospective residents.
Perform such other tasks as may be required from time to time by the management of the property.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the general public.
Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
Must meet all State health requirements
Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass criminal background check

Physical and Sensory Requirements:
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Must possess sight, hearing senses, or uses prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
Must be able to relate to the work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance. May be required to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc.
Physically able to bend, reach and work in small areas.
Physical stamina and ability to assist residents as needed and in emergencies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
